Chilrens Day and Kite Festival

The Shiba Club was invited to attend the Children's Day and Kite Fesitval on Saturday April 5, 2008 at the Japanese Friendship Garden from 10am-3pm. This will be a lot like Matsuri in that they want us to display the dogs from Japan. This should be a lot of fun as well. You can even make a kite while you are there. Call Wendy at 623-849-5281 if you can attend and help out. We only have had 5 Members volunteer to attend. We need more so the dogs don't get over tired. This is going to be a fun event so be sure to call and volunteer!!

Time: Conformation starts 9:30 AM
Place: 7341 W. Libby St, Glendale (Arrowhead area, back yard of Carol Harris) Directions below
There is shade, but it’s in the dirt. May want to bring ground cover for dogs. Some partially covered patio areas with concrete.
Judge: to be determined
Entry Fee: Day of Match: $6.00 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Make checks payable to SPAC or exact change please
Picnic for all: Bring side dish to share (clubs will provide chicken, drinks & utensils)
Raffle: Bring some cash!
Games: Fun for the dogs (with prizes)
Directions: Easy access from Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) west side of town
